NXTUK TV | "THE HERITAGE CUP BEGINS" | THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1ST 2020
At the start of the show Andy and Nigel give us the breaking news - owing to the attack by Kay Lee Ray last week Piper Niven hasn't been cleared to compete for the NXTUK Women's Championship tonight.
En queue that brings the champ out to gloat. She reminds us that Piper Niven is unworthy of a Championship moment and she'll never get one as long as she can help it. Xia Brookside comes out and defends her friend's honour guaranteeing Piper Niven will come back better than ever. Xia throws down a challenge to the Champ there and then. Kay Lee accepts and is met with a Dropkick by Brookside in response. The bell sounds seconds later and we're off!
1. KAY LEE RAY VS XIA BROOKSIDE
Brookside has Kay Lee on the ropes in this short, scrappy affair, with three near falls on the champ. Kay Lee stops Brookside's momentum with a Big Boot as Brookside comes off the top. Soon after Kay drops Brookside with a Gory Bomb for the win. Kay Lee leans into Brookside and tells Brookside to pass a message onto Piper Niven "don't come back!" before grabbing the NXTUK Women's title and leaving the ring. An unexpected start to tonight's NXTUK.
2. HERITAGE CUP | JOSEPH CONNERS VS FLASH MORGAN WEBSTER
The first Heritage Cup Tournament Match gets underway. The first shot was fired last week when Conners cost SWSC a tag team match, so the tension is already mounting between these two.
Webster gets the first pinfall off a Reverse Hurricanrana. Connors evens it up with Righteous Kill. It looks like Webster's going to win a third fall with a 450 but Connors gets the knees up as Morgan lands. He hooks in an Inside Cradle with a handful of tights to get the win and move onto the next round. Conners stomps up the ramp shouting down the camera that he's going to do whatever it takes to be the best.
Noam Dar is on the phone backstage, desperately ringing his "Dirt Sheet" contacts trying to find out who his mystery opponent in the Heritage Cup is. He's whittled it down to Giant Haystacks, Kurt Angle or maybe Bob Backlund. Dar's tournament match is next week, so we'll find out then!
We have interviews backstage with Alexander Wolf and Trent Seven about the Heritage Cup. Wolfe says he will prove that the mat is sacred and belongs to Imperium. Seven wants to prove that he's not just "shoots and giggles" and the Joker of the pack is the wild card! They'll face each other in the main event tonight.
3. PRETTY DEADLY UPSET THE TAG TEAMS
Pretty Deadly make their way to the ring to talk about Tag Team Turmoil next week. Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley say nobody thinks they can win next week, despite the fact they're the hottest team in NXTUK. They flash up pictures of Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter (their heads super-imposed on the Cool Runnings poster) The Hunt (Boar and Primate's faces superimposed on a Pig and a Money respectively) and Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams (they just flash up a picture of them dancing, saying they look stupid enough).
This brings out Amir Jordan and Kenny Williams, who attack Stoker and Howley, dropping them with Satellite DDTs and Rolling Neckbreakers before leaving the ring. Pretty Deadly get to their feet and Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter stride out and flatten both guys with Stereo Cool Runnings Knee Strikes and leave.
Pretty Deadly slowly get to their feet when The Hunt sprint to the ring and leave Pretty Deadly in the dust with Spears. It's been a rough night for Stoker and Howley of Pretty Deadly!
We get footage from earlier today at the UK Performance Center where four students (two male, two female) are training in the ring. Saxon Huxley enters the room and offers the seeds of tomorrow the chance to grow in his paradise. The four unnamed students, after hearing his speech, follow him out of the ring. Huxley has been clearly building some sort of commune lately.
4. AIOFE VALKYRIE VS AMALE
Valkyrie has been a talking point in NXTUK since its return, many believing she could be the future of the brand. It was a strong effort by Amale but Valkyrie picked up the win with a Top Rope Legdrop. After the match as Valkyrie is celebrating a photographer comes to ringside wearing a JINNY T-Shirt and snaps photos of Aoife whilst she celebrates. Aoife looks confused, but before she knows whats happenning the photographer is gone. Andy and Nigel say that it wasn't a registered photographer and they don't know how they got into the building.
We get a recap of last week's NXTUK Championship Match between WALTER and Dragunov. It was an attack from Alexander Wolfe that lead to a disqualification win for Dragunov, but that meant no title changed hands.
5. HERITAGE CUP | TRENT SEVEN VS ALEXANDER WOLFE
Seven is impressive with his mat wrestling to start, showing shades of Les Kellett strength and silliness against Wolfe. Wolfe however is able to reverse a a DDT attempt with a Leglock in the centre of the ring. Seven quickly taps out, as to force a break and not do any more damage to his leg. Wolfe works over the leg during the second fall. He goes for a Figure Four but Seven turns it into a Small Package to tie the match. Both men kick it into high gear for the second fall. Trent goes for the Burning Hammer but Wolfe slides out and pushes Trent into the referee, knocking him out. WALTER marches from the back towards the ring but is cut off by Ilya Dragunov. The two start fighting outside the ring, leaving Wolfe distracted long enough to get blasted with a Burning Hammer. The ref, now back in the land of the living, counts the three and awards Trent Seven the victory! Dragunov and WALTER fight out of sight a Seven stands talls to end the night.

NXTUK TV | "RING-GENERAL VS UBERSIEGBAR" | THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH 2020
We open the show with a video setting up our main event - WALTER vs Ilya Dragunov for the NXTUK Championship. We recap the actions of last week that lead to it. Nigel and Andy also reveal that the brackets for the Heritage Cup will be revealed after the first match of the night.
1. THE HUNT VS PRETTY DEADLY
Several teams are trying to get Gallus' attention in the tag team division and two of them square off to begin this week's show. Pretty Deadly arrogantly work over Wild Boar for a long time in this match but Primate rips through them once he gets tagged in. They pick up the win with a Spear followed by a Cannonball onto Howley. The Hunt stare down the camera after the match with Primate warning Gallus that "The Hunt is ON!"
Heritage Cup Bracketology is up next. In a special video package we're reminded once more of the British Rounds system and we find out who is facing who in the first round:
A-Kid vs Dave Mastiff
Flash Morgan Webster vs Joseph Conners
Trent Seven vs. Alexander Wolfe
And Noam Dar vs. A Mystery Opponent
At the end of the video package we go backstage where Noam Dar is furious that he's got the Mystery Opponent. He declares he should get double points for his match. Trent Seven walks by, mocking him for his tough draw and tells him to suck it up, get his boots on and meet him in the ring if he feels like working through his frustrations.
2. AIOFE VALKYRIE VS CANDYFLOSS
Aiofe makes an impressive entrance as Andy and Nigel describe her as a hot prospect in the NXTUK Women's division. It's a competive match but a mis-step leads Candyfloss into the path of a Top Rope Leg Drop, giving Valkyrie the victory. After the match Candyfloss despondantly rolls out of the ring. From out of nowhere appears Saxon Huxley and, as he did with T-Bone last week, ushers her away via the side exit of the Studio. What is Saxon Huxley planning?
Sam Gradwell is backstage taking selfies and is asked by Radzi about Saxon Huxley - what does Sam thing Huxley's up to. Sam is annoyed with Radzi for getting in his way and promises to send a strongly worded tweet to the official NXTUK account about his poor conduct.
3. ASHTON SMITH AND OLIVER CARTER VS SWSC
Another match in the intense tag team division of NXTUK. SWSC, as former champions, have the number of Smith and Carter for most of this match. It looks like Morgan is about to finish off Smith with a big Top Rope move, but Joseph Conners - his first round opponent in the Heritage Cup - turns up out of nowhere and pushes Morgan off the top. Moments later Smith follows up with Cool Runnings for the win! Despite the shenanigans it's a win over former champions under the belts of Smith and Carter.
Nigel and Andy inform us of breaking news: in two weeks on NXTUK we'll see a Tag Team Gauntlet to determine the Number One Contenders for the Tag Team Championships. We cross backstage to Gallus for reaction and Wolfgang and Mark Coffey are unfased. Whoever enters their Kingdom they'll be kneel to the Kings.
Backstage WALTER and Ilja Dragunov are warming up for the main event. Dragunov is lunging the catacombs of the arena whilst WALTER is destroying a punching bag as Alexander Wolfe screams in German at him.
4. NOAM DAR VS TRENT SEVEN
Both men are taking part in the Heritage Cup, but are getting warmed up in a classic exhibition match here. They both demonstrate some ground-based technical wrestling with Trent getting the upper hand. Noam ends up reversing a roll-up from Seven and using the ropes to get a tainted victory over Trent. Andy and Nigel opine that those shady tactics could make Dar a tough challenge in the Heritage Cup (providing he can get by his mystery opponent)
Piper Niven is being interviewed backstage about her title match next week. She's interrupted by Nina Samuels who pie-faces the challenger and runs off. Piper gives chase into the backstage area with the cameras following. Niven doesn't see Kay Lee Ray strike with a Chop Block from behind. With Piper on the ground Kay Lee grabs a steel chair from the corridor and proceeds to smash Niven's leg over and over. Eventually officials jump in to break it up but the damage has already been done. As medical staff tend to Piper Kay Lee is screaming "I told you ya wouldn't be standing!" as she's being taken away.
Andy and Nigel are concerned about the welfare of Piper Niven and encourage people to follow @NXTUK on Twitter for updates ahead of next week's planned Women's Championship Match.
5. NXTUK TITLE | WALTER (c) VS. ILJA DRAGUNOV
WALTER overpowers Ilja multiple times at the start, but the Challenger is able to get into the game by Clotheslining the Champion outside and delivering a dive. The match sees WALTER avoid two Russian Torpedos whilst Dragunov is able to avoid those devastating chops from the Champ.
Dragunov gets an amazing flurry on WALTER, dropping him with a German Suplex and nailing the Russian Torpedo...but Alexander Wolfe dives into the ring to beat on Dragunov as he makes the cover - the referee calls for the bell to DQ WALTER. It doesn't matter as both members of IMPERIUM lay waste to Dragunov. Iljya fights back, landing Russian Torpedos on both Wolfe and WALTER to send them packing. Andy and Nigel say that Dragunov won the battle but not the title as NXT goes off the air.

NXTUK TV | "BACK WITH A BANG!" | THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH 2020
Emanating from BT Sports Studios in London in front of a capacity crowd of zero.
1. WALTER WANTS JUSTICE!
We open with Sid Scala and Johnny Saint in the centre of the ring, welcoming fans to the BT Sport Studios and to the return of NXTUK. Before Johnny Saint can speak Symphony Number 9 hits signalling the arrival of WALTER and Alexander Wolfe. WALTER is furious that Scala has allowed Imperium to be divided (Aichner and Barthel are stuck in USA) and holds Scala and Saint responsible.
Scala promises to discuss the matter with WALTER backstage, but WALTER isn't interested in talking and he attacks Scala with a Chop to the chest and a Power Bomb before hurling him from the ring. Johnny Saint throws his jacket off and rolls up his sleeves, but gets grabbed from behind by Wolfe. Wolfe holds him and WALTER prepares to chop the veterain, Saint, but Ilya Dragunov hits the ring and drops WALTER and Wolfe with Russian Torpedos to send them packing. Saint grabs the microphone and informs WALTER that next week he'll put his NXTUK Championship on the line against Ilya Dragunov! A wild opening to the first NXTUK in six months.
We get part one of a video package promoting the NXTUK Heritage Cup and the Tournament to crown the first Heritage Champion of NXTUK. The package features William Regal, Fit Finlay, Johnny Saint and Robbie Brookside discussing the British Rounds system that it will be contested under.
Andy and Nigel announce that the main event for tonight will see Ilja Dragunov getting a warm-up ahead of his NXTUK Championship match next week: he'll be facing Alexander Wolfe.
2. NXTUK TAG TEAM TITLES | GALLUS VS AMIR JORDAN AND KENNY WILLIAMS
The first NXTUK in-ring action in six months sees gold on the line. As the match progresses we see the tag team division head into the BT Sport Studio to get an up close look at what's going on. First Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter, then The Hunt, then Pretty Deadly, then South West Subculture. The match ends when Amir Jordan misses Air Jordan and gets dropped with Kingdom Come (Like a Hart Attack but with a Discus Lariat) for the decisive win. Gallus leave, staring down the tag team division as they do. A statement very much has been made by the Champions.
We get the second part of the Heritage Cup video package. We see Drew McIntyre, Pete Dunne, Nikki Cross, Danny Burch and Wade Barrett talking about how important the traditional British style of wrestling was to them and how it molded them as athletes.
3. PIPER NIVEN VS NINA SAMUELS
The women's division get showcased in our next match. Andy and Nigel on commentary announce that Piper Niven will challenge Kay Lee Ray for the NXTUK Women's Championship in two weeks, but Nina Samuels would make a bold statement with a win tonight. Despite her best efforts, Piper gets the three count after a Piper Driver.
After the match the NXTUK Women's Champion Kay Lee Ray makes her way to the ring. She declares herself the most dominant Women's Champion on any brand in WWE, individually running down Io Shirai, Asuka, Bayley and Jax and Bayzler, the Tag Team Champions. She says she will give any of them an opportunity at her title but she refuses to give "the undeserving" Piper Niven a shot and promises Niven won't be fit to stand up, let alone fight, in two weeks time. A bold threat made by the Champion towards her challenger.
We get a video package featuring Saxon Huxley. He's in the bowels of the BT Sport Studios declaring that he's been isolated from civilization for six months and he needs to take his rightful place as leader of the new civilisation. He warns us all that The Rebirth is coming. There he goes, there goes Saxon Huxley.
4. TYSON T-BONE VS SAM GRADWELL
An energetic Sam Gradwell, who has been killing it on Twitter during lockdown, takes the fight to T-Bone. The fighting gypsy kicks back but ends up succumbing to a roll-up from Gradwell out of nowhere. Gradwell celebrates in the ring as T-Bone rages outside. Suddenly Saxon Huxley appears, book in hand, and ushers T-Bone away. We're left wondering what business Huxley has with T-Bone as Gradwell pulls out his phone and takes a Selfie on the top rope.
The third and final part of the Heritage Cup video is next. We hear from seven of the eight competitors: Joseph Conners, Noam Dar, Flash Morgan Webster, Trent Seven, A Kid, Dave Mastiff and Alexander Wolfe. All of them promise victory in the Heritage Cup. Andy Shepherd and Nigel McGuinness acknowledge that a mystery eight competitor will be revealed in a few week's time. The tournament begins in two weeks time.
5. ILJA DRAGUNOV VS ALEXANDER WOLFE
Two men who know each other from around the wrestling world pull no punches in the main event. Wolfe tears down Ilja with strikes and underhanded chokeholds but Dragunov won't be denied tonight and finishes off the Imperium member with a Russian Torpedo for the three count. WALTER stands as ringside with his NXTUK Championship held aloft, Dragunov staring back as the show ends.

- Due to the ongoing pandemic nobody from America will be eligible for guest appearances or drafting until February 2021.
